Abstract:

Taking DC53 as a research object,the best heat treatment methods were selected based on hardness test and impact test, then the influences of different combinations of cutting depth, path space and feed peed on cuttingtool broken tendency were investigated by cutting test based on carver PMSRT . The results show that quenched and tempered DC53 at 400 ℃ for 20 min is suitable for cold working precision forging die, the best cutting process is 0.01 mm path space, 0.01 mm cutting depth and feed speed at 1.8 m·min-1,which avoids frequent cuttingtool broken based on a certain processing efficiency.
