Abstract:

Based on parametric design, associated design and the knowledge of ejector design in injection mould, an automated method of ejector design was created on UG platform. The module can lay the positions of ejector quickly, check interference and calculate length automatically, identify the type of ejector intelligently, fast form pocket, make drawing automatically and provide interface for the further steps of forming hole table and BOM. The case study shows that this method raises the efficiency and the reliability of design.
