Abstract:

3D finite element of circle section being rolled to flat was established, and rolling process of JD integral discharge electrode wire was simulated, which made effective rolling arc length, parts length, parts of forward slip and parts contour shape and cross section data to be obtained based on the MSC.Superform software platform. The simulation and the calculation results were compared with rolling test, which obtains better consistency and provides important basis for roller and roll pass design.
