Abstract:

Press slide needs slower speed change in the tensile region, and should operate at full capacity with longer time in order to adapt to the stretching process. Through analyzing the structure characteristic and movement characteristic of the existing mechanical press and changing main drive gear of the press,a new press with a slide part added near the bottom dead point with low speed characteristics,which is very suitable for drawing, was designed. The working principle and main characteristic of new configuration press were introduced in detail, the parametric design of mechanical model was established by ADAMS simulation and analysis software. A few sets of sliding motion curve were obtained by the parametric design of pendulum length; by contrast, the movement characteristic regularity of the slider under the influence of the rod length was got.
