Abstract:

It is first choice of multi position progressive die without waste material for commencing mass production, which improves material utilization rate and decreases production costs. Taking bucket fixed support of water heater as an example, the problems of material overlap workpiece positioning, step control etc., during the design of the optimal packing with multi position progressive die of one die for two workpieces without waste were researched. According to the structure feature of the support, multi position progressive die of one die for two workpieces without waste was designed. The production proves that the material utilization rate and production efficiency are improved using this die, and the product can fully meet the demands of the customers.
