Abstract:

The whole process of sheet metal forming was simulated using CAD/CAE. The defects of wrinkle and insufficient deformation of sheet metal when forming were predicted. And then, the simulation calculation was done after modifying the stamping process scheme. The validation results show that the wrinkle is controlled after adding the drawbead in the pressure surface, and the parts are fully deformed, which realizes the work-hardening and improves surface quality. The mold structure was designed using top-down design method by Pro-E,the general design ideas,detailed design of working parts and die working principle were introduced.
