Abstract:

Owing to the influence factors, such as friction, variable strain rate, deformation heat generation, height error of the specimen etc., there exists error between the experiment data and the true value. The incidence of the mentioned four factors on experiment results was quantitativly analyzed by quoting a parameter for the ratio of experimental and true value η, the reasons that result in the error was analyzed also and the measurements that eliminate or decrease the error were put forward. The results show that the η is around 0.5202.195 when true strain is 1.0. An error compensation method was introduced. An interpolate method was applied on the function of Hyperbolic Sine, and the results show a good agreement between calculation and experiment.Based on the above,the software “RightStress” for experimental data correction was developed, whose reliability was proved by testing.
