Abstract:

Rolling force is one of the important technical parameters in metal rolling process. By using FEM software ANSYS/ LS-DYNA, the ovalround pass rolling process of threedimensional rigidplastic finite element model was established.The pressing,spread and the rolling force value from biting to rolling were obtained. Combined with the general formula of rolling pass,using MATLAB program,a numerical fitting was achieved, and a simple pressure coefficient formula of ovalround pass to accurate calculation of the rolling force during rolling was deduced. Compared with the rolling force value derived by the finite element calculation formula and the rolling force value of the actual rolling,the relative error between them is less than 4%.
