Abstract:

Die wear module of the extrusion process was defined based on the Archard wear module. Die wear of typical forward cold extrusion process was analyzed using Deform wear analysis module,the wear profile of points of the die work surface was obtained, and the maximum die wear position was pointed out. By comparing analysis, the influence of the die structure, deformation degree, sliding speed on the die wear was studied. The results show that the relationship between die wear and process parameters is reflected by the module,and measures to reduce die wear based on the process are put forward.
