Abstract：

The trajectories of orbital forming press head with double eccentric covers are more complex. The orbital head shaft will fracture under the action of the alternating force in linear trajectories. According to the orbital head movement principle，the motion equations was built, the new elliptical trajectory was proposed and analyzed, the orbital head force status was improved, and the elliptical trajectory variation was summarized. The research provides the theoretical guidance for improving the structure of orbital head, designing new orbital forming press, and expanding orbital forming process.
