Abstract:

The manufacturing of mechanical press belongs to the single and small batch production. For a long time, a great deal of time and manpower have been spent during product design. The parametric model for press machine body was established based on UG software by combining with the sketches, expression references, inhibition and so on. The menu and dialog box were designed through UG/OPEN UIStyler and MenuScript. The parametric design system of press machine body was developed based on clone assembly technology through the creation of application project in Visual C++ environment. The development period of press machine is shortened effectively, which can meet the needs of fast-changing market rapidly.
