Abstract:

Eccentric shape parts with complicated structure are widely used in mechanical transmission. A process scheme of cold and warm composite precision plastic forming for the eccentric part was developed according to the structural characteristics of eccentric shape parts. The pre-forming process of eccentric cold extrusion and final forming process of warm upsetting extrusion were mainly designed,and the corresponding precision dies were also designed. Reasonable conditions were selected for blank lubrication, die preheating and cooling. Precision plastic forming experiment for the eccentric shape parts was made. The experimental results indicate that eccentric shape parts with high dimensional accuracy and excellent mechanical properties are produced using this process and dies which has the advantages of low material consumption and high production efficiency and great economic value.
