Abstract:
The original manufacturing process of 100 mm screw head blank with DTT type is as follows:the piece is heated with twice medium frequency, and integrally contracted by stamping and stretrching,subsequently cut-off by maching and divided from a whole part. The wall deviation of products is 6-8 mm which is too larger. So the second rough machining before heat treatment is needed to ensure the wall deviation meeting the design requirements.  The study and optimum design of process were carried out. The improved manufacturing process is once heating and three-station once extrusion forming, and wall deviation of is less than 0.8 mm,which achieves the design requirements. The roughing and semi-finishing of products before heat-treatment is cancelled. Meanwhile, the material consumption quota is reduced, the production cycle is shortened, and the product quality and production efficiency are improved.?
