Abstract:

In view of the springback phenomenon in sheet metal forming process, a method that colud reduce springback in the metal stamping process was proposed. The effect of friction factor, sheet thickness, blank holder force, clearance between punch and die and other factors on stamping springback was simulated and calculated using the orthogonal test of four factors and three levels. The influence law of factors on spingback was found out. The numerical simulation results indicate that the amount of spingback of V-shaped pieces decreases with the increase of blank holder force, the springback angle increases with the increase of clearance between punch and die, the springback is smaller when the friction lubrication condition is poorer, and the changes in the sheet thickness can affect the springback too.
