Abstract:

 To explore the principle of medium plate thermal elastic-plastic deformation in thermal stress forming in marine industry, the method of inherent strain used in the welding analysis was introduced into the process of high frequency induction heating forming analyses and calculation of thermal elastic-plastic deformation considering that some similarity exists between high frequency induction heating and welding processing. After the analysis of high frequency induction heating process, the key factors of the induction heating process,such as strain, stress and bending moment,were calculated in theory. The bending moment and deformation under different processes were obtained respectively by using this method. Compared with the results of high frequency induction heating forming experiment, it is concluded that the theoretical calculation results are basically identical with the experimental results,which shows that the simplified model is reasonable.
