Abstract:

 According to the analysis of structural characteristics for pipe clamp fittings, the design for original stamping process was improved,namely, the single process die was improved to progressive die, the stamping and thread tapping were integrated as a whole,  and finally the full automation production of multi-position progressive die was realized. The expansion calculation methods of clamp fittings, tapping mechanism design,layout design and main structural design characteristics  for die were introduced, which solved the problem of integration of stamping and tapping for small size parts. Due to that the separation of original tapping process became a workstation with multi-position progressive die,  the number of machine tools and production workers are reduced, the production efficiency is improved and the production cost is reduced.
