Abstract:

The three-dimensional model of G series forklift engine hood was founded by UG software, and then this model was imported to the eta/Dynaform software to simulate the stamping process. The simulation results were obtained from different technological parameters such as blank holder force(BHF)、drawbead height、punch speed and die clearance. The technological parameters were optimized by the orthogonal experimental results. The optimal technological parameters were BHF 4430 kN, drawbead height 8 mm, punch speed 3000 mm·s-1 and die clearance 1.575 mm. The qualified engine hood parts were obtained by forming experiment according to the optimal technological parameters above. Test results show that the optimal parameters effectively solve the problems of drawing such as wrinkling, crack and inadequate stretch areas in the forming process.
