Abstract:

According to the hierarchical processing characteristics of sheet incremental forming, forces that formed in local area were analyzed in the process of incremental forming and divided into horizontal force and vertical force. Based on the different strains caused by each feed, reasonable hypothesis and simplification were given and the vertical force was expressed when the material of each layer was machined. Furthermore, the shortcoming of general calculation and mismatch with actual hierarchical processing was avoided and the forming force model for every layer was set up accurately. Comparing the calculated results with the experimental data, it is proved that the vertical force produced from every layer can be calculated accurately through the calculated model.
