Abstract:

After quenching and tempering for the hot-work die steel, the effect of quenching temperature and tempering temperature on the hardness and thermal fatigue resistance of die steel was studied, the broke mouth shape of the impact fracture and broke mouth characteristic of the thermal cycling fatigue fracture of die steel were observed, the quenching and tempering technology of hot-work die steel was optimized and its influence regulation and mechanism of action on heat fatigue properties were also analyzed. The results show that the main crack of fatigue crack is the shortest and the smallest at 1080 ℃, so the samples after quenching at 1080 ℃ have a better thermal fatigue resistance; 580 ℃ +560 ℃ tempering samples show good performance of thermal fatigue resistance.
