Abstract:

For the defects of the metal shaving press directed by traditional hydraulic system, such as the inferior transmission efficiency and the complex structure, a new direct-drive variable displacement hydraulic system was designed for the metal shaving press. Through the combination of the Rexroth A4V close circuit variable pump and AC servo motor, a new direct-drive hydraulic unit was built. In the platform of AMESim software, the strategy of displacement adjustment was designed and the feasibility was verified, and the close loop control of position for hydraulic cylinder was realized. The simulation research shows that the new system saves the installed power, and is beneficial for the longevity of the servo motor. At the same time, the working capacity of the metal shavings press is improved.
