Abstract:
Through a stamping process analysis on the structure of the REINF-L/GATE WGE, a layout scheme of a progressive die for the part was determined. The overall structure and design of the main parts with multi-position punching and forming progressive die were presented. To assure the strip to move synchronously and smoothly,the ejector device was designed floatingly to improve the positioning precision of the strip. Design scheme of the progressive die was determinated. Based on the structural characteristics of the workpiece, the automatic feeding, stripper and layout of less waste material were adopted in the structure design of a progressive die. Thus, the material utilization was improved effectively. After the material from the radius corner was thinned, the part on the straight wall was cut off directly to solve trimming problem. The results show that the layout scheme and the ten-position progressive die are reasonable and feasible, and the large-scale production requirements of seat reinforcing plate parts are met.
