Title:Research on springback compensation in stamping forming for glass guide of car door

Abstract:
Springback is inevitable in sheet metal forming, and to effectively decrease the springback is the guarantee of a qualified part manufacturing. The forming process and springback of glass guide of car door were simulated by Dynaform software, and the causes of the springback were analyzed reasonably. At the position of the large springback produced, die surface compensation was made by the method of node symmetry, and the forming quality of the part was verified effectively by Dynaform. The value of springback was reduced from 0.67 mm to less than 0.3 mm, namely decreased near 60%. In conclusion, simulation results show that the springback can be controlled effectively by this method.
