Abstract：

With the development of industry, the hot-rolled and pickled strip steel is widely used in the automobile and air condition industries. In the case of automobile, the hot-rolled and pickled strip steel is applied in structure parts, such as beam and bearing bracket. The steelmaking and hot-rolled processes of the hot-rolled and pickled strip steel SAPH440 of Beijing Shougang Co.,Ltd. were introduced, and the microstructure, mechanical property and surface quality of products were tested and analyzed in details. It is shown that the microstructure consists of pearlite and ferrite with grain size 11, and the inclusions of type D and DS, so the relative standards of various mechanical properties can be fully met. The specific improvement measures are adopted to prevent from the defects such as scratching, parking spot and roll printing produced in the hot-rolled and pickling process.
