Abstract:

With the aids of related measuring methods such as OM, SEM, EDS and tensile test and so on, the cracking cause of cold rolled plate FJB1 used in anti-static floor in the stamping process was analyzed. It is demonstrated that internal inclusions and surface defects are the direct causes that lead to cracking in the stamping process. Meanwhile minor faults of microstructure and properties, or larger thickness deviation can cause the crack too. In order to improve the quality of the cold rolled plate and minimize crack defective rate in the stamping process, processes of steelmaking, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing and stamping should be optimized as a whole. After adopting these measures, defective rate of cracking by stamping drops from 15.5% to less than 2%.
