Abstract:

In view of the existing abnormal ignition and combustion phenomenon for forging heating furnace gas burner under the condition of 2-8 kPa depression, the burner and furnace structures were improved by the analysis of working principle and the principle of gas fuel combustion, as well as influencing factors dealing with flame flow type, gas flow speed, gas producing heat and depletion coefficient. The DTX3, DTX4 and DTX5 as three structures of burner were designed by adding the burner central air hole, increasing the central hole diameter and adjusting nozzle hole diameter and number. The ignition and flame test were carried out respectively. The test results show that the performance of burner DTX5 shows the most significant improvement. The air volume calculation, the structure of the explosion-proof tube heating furnace, and double-flame modification and experiment were carried out by new burner DTX5. Furthermore, the new burner DTX5 is suitable for natural gas pressure of 2-8 kPa, air pressure of 0.6-3 kPa, adjustment rate of 1∶8, and flame length of 1-3 m. After the furnace is modified, the furnace temperature keeps uniform, its control precision reaches ±6 ℃ which is 40% higher than that of the similar equipments, and the productivity efficient is improved by 75%.
