Abstract:

For some status quos of the heavy design tasks of large crank press and repetitive work, a parameterized variant design method for large crank press was presented based on SolidWorks, parametric thinking, modular thinking and Excel design database. A method about parameterized variant design system for large crank press based on Visual C++ and Excel was proposed. Taking the body design module as an example, the applications of the mentioned method and system were demonstrated. The work efficiency of the designer and the reliability of part design are improved by the crank press variant design system which combines the establishment of 3D models with the design and check process of the parts.
