Abstract:
To study the distribution rules of straightening force parameters and process parameters of plate during straightening process with different rolling reductions, the straightening force and torque models were deduced according to three moment equations of the continuous beam firstly, and then the influences of rolling reduction on these key straightening parameters were studied by taking the same plate as initial condition. The results show that, with the increment of rolling reduction, the contact point between plate and straightening roller No.1 moves partially to exit, the incremental amplitudes of the bending curvature, residual curvature and straightening trajectory at the odd roller are improved, the area and degree of plastic deformation increase gradually, and the reduction of transverse residual stress increases, but its reduction velocity gets slower. Therefore, the rolling reduction should not be improved blindly to diminish residual stress. And the distribution of straightening force and internal bending torques transforms from triangle to trapezoid.
