Abstract:
For the bump phenomenon in the NC incremental forming, four kinds of scanning paths for extrusion tool such as the contour outline scanning path, the contour outline and underside scanning path, the full scanning path from outside to inside by each contour layer, and the full scanning path from inside to outside by each contour layer were put forward based on STL (Sterolithography), and each type of path generation algorithm based on the algorithm of STL model vertex offset and polygon edge offset was given. At the same time, the NC incremental forming effects of the above four scanning paths were simulated by finite element analysis software. The results show that during the CNC incremental forming the bulge phenomenon does not occur by the full scanning path from inside to outside on each contour layer, and the thickness differences in the whole decrease.
