Abstract:

For the mechanized equipment with indirect extrusion, the construction, process, composition of servo system and the communication message settings between servo system and PLC were elaborated. For the example of loading and unloading manipulator walking with activities gasket, its position was accurately located and controlled by the servo control technology and programmable logical controller PLC. The self-adaptive regulation of manipulator walking position was realized, and the realization of the closed-loop control by adapting GRAPH programming language was analyzed in detail. After designing servo control system based on PLC, the automatic control processes such as providing billet, gasket and die were realized by manipulator in indirect extrusion process of the activities gasket. The servo control system was successfully applied in direct-indirect double action alumimum extrusion press. With furnace and production line of alumimum extrusion press, the non-extrusion time was reduced greatly in the indirect extrusion, and the automation degree and producing efficiency were improved remarkably.
