Abstract:

F35MnVN non-quenched and tempered steel for a double pass compression experiments were finished on Gleeble-3800 thermal simulation machine and the flow stress-strain curves were obtained under different deformation conditions. According to Avrami equation,a static recrystallization kinetics model was created, and the activation energy of static recrystallization with 178.2 kJ·mol-1 was calculated. F35MnVN non-quenched and tempered steel for a single pass compression experiments were finished on Gleeble-3800 thermal simulation machine(the same conditions to the double-pass),through metallographic experiments on samples from single pass experiments,the model of static recrystallization grain size was obtained. And the model predictions were compared with the obtained experimental data and a good agreement was acquired. So not only this model can be used for numerical simulation of F35MnVN non-quenched and tempered steel during the process of hot deformation,but it can be used for getting a better thermal process parameters.
