Abstract:

Tensile experiments at constant high temperature were carried out for hot stamping of boron steels B1500HS on the test machine Gleeble-1500 to get stress-strain curves. The deformation behavior of hot stamping of boron steels B1500HS was investigated. The influence of deformation temperature and strain rate on flow characteristic was analyzed. The difference among Hansel-Spittel rheology law, Noron-Hoff rheology law and experimental data was compared and investigated. In order to overcome the shortcomings of Hansel-Spittel rheology law, the simplified Hansel-Spittel rheology law was proposed, which can help precisely describe the flow characteristic of boron steels B1500HS in austenitic state.
