Abstract:

According to the actual application of a plant project,a kind of application of Mitsubishi inverter was introduced in hot die forging press.With the control of field bus communication based on Profibus-DP,a new motor control system driven by inverter was constructed.According to the definition of DP communication protocol between Siemens PLC and inverter,hardware configuration was made in the PLC and inverter respectively including external hardware connection and DP address setting,PLC internal address and communication parameter in the inverter. Inverter parameters were monitored and modified through HMI,and fast and reliable data transmission between PLC and inverter was realized. The operating condition of motor was adjusted real-time by control system so as to improve the motor working condition,enhance the automation and realize the digital operation of the press.
