Abstract:
The performance prediction technology of the hot rolling steel strip is an advanced technology that influences on the steel industry with the high-technique and information integration technologies to accurately predict the mechanical properties of the product. However, it is difficult to carry out the on-line application because of some restricted links, and it is also seldom reported. The steel C-Mn hot rolling mechanical property prediction system was developed by Pangang Group, and the online application was realized through the establishment and development of mathematical statistical model on mechanical properties of typical steels and application technology platform. It was also conducted the real data validation of nearly 10 categories and more than 1000 species of typical steel furnace and model modification. The deviation of model prediction is less than 8%. At the same time, based on information technology, it is realized the fine management of sampling products, and the amount of product intermediate sampling is reduced. Therefore, the sample replacement rate reaches 80.49 percent, and the production logistics cycles are reduced more than 24 h. Furthermore, the production process costs are saved.
