Title:Study on the improvement of times on silicon steel sheet coated by inorganic insulation without increasing burr height

Abstract:

Increasing the number of blanking is an important but difficult technique for enterprises during research while silicon steel sheet coated by inorganic insulation is blanked and burr height meets the requirements. Based on the close relationship of blanking number with burr height, the blanking experiments of the silicon steel sheet Φ5 mm×0.5 mm with inorganic insulation coating was carried out by the die with clearance 0.025 mm and material Cr12MoV, and the mathematical model dealing with the number of blanking and burr height was fit under certain condition by statistical analysis on experimental data. Then by analyzing abrasion of punch, die and workpiece section that lubricated or not lubricated, the amount of blanking times was improved by mixing lubrication of engine oil with beeswax under the condition of burr height unchanged. It was proved that the practical effect is good.
