Abstract:

According to stamping process analysis and calculation for microwave ELG shell, the layout plan for sides in three directions of a two-sided carrier and inner and outer rings was presented. The overall die structure and the local mechanical design of the key parts were introduced and the punch fine-tuning device and adjustment action in shaping process were described in detail. Therefore, each adjustment could be completed within 10 min which saved the adjustment time of the die greatly. In layout design, considering the characteristics of the side shape with outer ring blank, the side location of the one of directions was designed in the corresponding location between the workpieces, and the step was shortened without influencing the strip stiffness. Therefore, the utilization rate of the material was improved. In order to ensure the continuous feeding smoothly after deep drawing, the floating guide pin devices were designed on both sides of the strip in the die. The experimental results show that the compact die design and good quality stamping parts can meet the needs of mass production.
