Abstract:
The performances of the screw motor and screw pump were improved substantially due to the appearance of the stator with an equal thickness rubber bushing stator. The inner helicoid of stator metal shell with the geometric features of multi-head, big lead angle and continuous smoothness was unable to be manufactured with high efficiency and low cost, which is an urgent issue to be solved in this field at present. The internal high-pressure bulging technology was put forward to manufacture the stator metal shell. Then, by means of simulation, optimization design combining with bulging experiment, it was studied the influences of pressure, tube thickness, screw pitch of the workpiece and friction coefficient of the interface on the forming process. The analysis result of bulging by computer simulation was consistent with the experimental result, and met the production requirements of the stator. Thus, a uniform inner helicoid was obtained.
