Abstract:

In order to prevent the tooth root fracture, tooth crest wear and other defects in the straight tooth bevel gear pendulum rolling die, three-dimensional finite element model was established based on rotary forging pressure forming, and the forming process of straight tooth bevel gear with different of process parameters such as swing angles and feed speed was simulated and analyzed. The specific point stress analysis in the die tooth was carried out, and the influences of the different  swing angles and feed speeds on rotary forging stress in straight bevel gear forming was discussed. Furthermore, the orthogonal simulation tests were conducted on the above two parameters. The numerical simulation results show that when the feed speed is 5 mm·s-1 and the upper die swing angle is 2 degrees, the force of the gear wheel is more uniform, the fatigue wear of the roller die is smaller, and the service life is longer.
