Title:Research on vibration characteristics of parametrically excited stiffness for cold rolling mill rolls

Abstract:

Considering the influence of chatter marks of roll surface on the stiffness changes among the mill rolls and the influence of dynamic rolling force on the vibration system, the nonlinear dynamic model of cold rolling mill with single degree of freedom was established according to the mechanism of vertical vibration. Then, the equations of amplitude-frequency were obtained by multiple-scale method when the system happened 1/2 subharmonic resonance, and the influences of different parameters changes on the vibration amplitude and region of vibration system were obtained by simulation analysis. Furthermore, the bifurcation characteristics under the nonautonomous were discussed by the singularity theory, and the transition sets and bifurcation topology structure of system were obtained under three different situations. Finally, the parametric region of system instability was given so as to avoid the occurrence of violent vibration, which provided a theoretical reference to suppress vibration of rolling mil rolls.
