Title:Determination on key technical parameters for prestressed steel wire-wound hydraulic cylinder 50 MN

Abstract:
The key technical parameters of prestressed steel wire wound hydraulic cylinder were studied by theoretical analysis and finite element method. Then, a single layer thick wall cylinder was simplified as the steel wires, and 1/4 of the double cylinders plane stress xisymmetric finite element model was established. Therefore, the curves of changing thickness of the steel wire layers were obtained through applying different pre-tightening forces in the steel wire, and the wound stress and thickness of the steel wire layers were confirmed. Furthermore, 1/4 axisymmetric parametric plane stress finite element model of six layers steel wires wound cylinder was built, and the right initial wound stress and prestress reduction increments were chosen by traversal calculation in the reduction of different pre-tightening force increments and the final pressure setting on the external wall of the cylinder which generated by pre-tightening steel wires. At last, the key technology parameters of prestressed steel wire wound cylinder were determined, and the hydraulic cylinder 50 MN with internal pressure 80 MPa was designed and manufactured according to the above technical parameters.
