Title:Design on large complicated multi-position progressive die for automotive reinforcement-seat

Abstract:

The automotive reinforcementseat with complicated shape and high forming precision was formed by piercing,trimming,drawing,flanging,sizing,side trimming and cutting. Through analyzing the stamping process and scheme of the automotive reinforcementseat, it was determined that the left and right automotive reinforcementseats were formed in the same die with the doublerow layout and intermediate carrier, and the progressive stamping process with eleven positions were put forward. Then, the side trimming, feeding mechanism and whole die structure were analyzed, and the multiposition progressive die was manufactured based on the above design scheme. After the die is tested, the results show that the layout scheme and the die structure are reasonable and feasible. Thus, the dimensional precision of part meets the drawing requirement, which meets the requirement of mass production.
