Abstract:
In order to make the rubber forming parts in the aircraft unfold better in the CATIA environment,a secondary CATIA development method based on CAA(Component Application Architecture)was put forward to obtain a more satisfactory blank shape and reduce the cost of materials. Then, an unfolding system platform was designed based on geometric method, and the examples of specific blank development were provided. At first, the numerical model of the convex curve part was manipulated to obtain the blank shape by the sheet metal unfolding system, and then the rigid die was designed by the “one step” forming surface springback compensation system. Finally, the rubber forming test and simulation were carried out. By comparing the degree of fitting of the forming part with the original part,it is found that the flanging height distribution tolerance scope is within 0.15 mm and the angle between both ends of vertical side and web surface is also close to 90°, and the accuracy of sheet unfolding system was verified.
