Abstract:

The residual stress on the surface of connecting rod bushing has an influence on dimensional precision, fatigue strength and hardness of the workpiece after power spinning and the service life of connecting rod bushing is directly related. For tin-bronze connecting rod bushing, three-roller stagger spinning was studied by single-factor experiment method, and the numerical simulation was carried out by the finite element simulation software Simufact. Then, the influences of the stagger distance along the axis direction, the working angle and the working arc radius of spinning roller on the residual stress of connecting rod bushing were studied. The results show that for connecting rod bushing in the power spinning, the stagger distance of spinning roller along the axis direction of 4 mm≤t≤6 mm, the working angle of 18°≤α≤28° and the working arc radius of 4 mm≤r ≤ 6 mm are suitable. Thus, the residual stress of the connecting rod bushing is small, and the service life is improved significantly, which provides a reliable basis for actual production.
