Abstract:

For the technical requirements and structure characteristics of clamping plate, the layout and structure of multi-position progressive dies were designed, and the structural design of guiding devices, location devices, stripper devices and working parts were described in detail. Then, the four-guide pillar and sliding die sets with thickening steel moulding plate were selected, which moved smoothly and had stronger bearing capacity, and the guidance system of spring guide plate was designed to guide the motion of punch and improve the guiding precision. Next, the feeding step was controlled accurately by two diagonal arranged side blades, and the accurate and reliable positioning was obtained so as to ensure the concentricity of inner and outer shape. Furthermore, two sets of spring strippers were designed to ensure the reliability of unloading and increase the part quality. The die was designed by combining whole and mosaic structure to reduce processing difficulty,which was prone to repair, and the limit devices were designed to ensure the deformation and dimensions of convex hull. The production results show that the product quality and productivity can be met by multi-position progressive die for clamping plate.
