Abstract:

 In order to study the vertical vibration characteristics of four-roller rolling mill system, regarding its complicated vibration process, the asymmetric six-degree-of-freedom vertical vibration model of four-roller rolling mill was established, and the dynamics equation of vertical vibration system was established by the Newton′s second law of mechanical vibration theory. Then, the inherent characteristics of six-degree-of-freedom vertical vibration model for four-roller roling mill were calculated by software Matlab, and the natural frequency of each order for the system and the corresponding main vibration mode were analyzed. The results show that the fifth-order natural frequency is the main frequency resulting in the strong self-excited vibration of four-roller rolling mill. The verification of vertical vibration test platform on the scene shows that the above system has the advantage of high accuracy. The above research results provide a theoretical basis for the study of modern dynamic design, dynamic analysis and vibration suppression of four-roller rolling mill.
