Title:Study on working radius of rotating wheel during stagger spinning of rod bushing based on response surface methodology

Abstract:

For tin bronze cylinder,taking the forming quality (expanding amount of internal diameter,external roundness error and straightness error) as evaluation indexes, the numerical simulation of stagger spinning process was conducted by finite element simulation software Simufact, and the working radius of each rotating wheel for stagger spinning was analyzed by the response surface methodology. Then, the influence of working radius of each rotating wheel on the forming quality was analyzed, and the simulation was verified by actual experiments. The results show that when the order of working radius of each rotating wheel is wheel 1 > wheel 2> wheel 3,the forming quality is the best, and when the working radius of rotating wheel 1 is 6 mm, the working radius of rotating wheel 2 is 5 mm and the working radius of rotating wheel 3 is 4 mm, the high forming quality of tin bronze rod bushing is obtained by power spinning.
