Abstract:
For the geometric characteristics and the forming difficulties of the sprocket, the forming process of the boss with diameter Φ1 mm on the sprocket was numerically simulated and analyzed by simulation software Deform, and the extrusion formability of boss was studied to obtain the boss formed by a single semi-piercing. Then, in order to avoid small circular punch broke in the blanking process, the small circular punch protection device with diameter Φ4 mm was designed. According to the characteristics of the parts, the nesting scheme was determined, and the fine blanking process parameters of contour teeth and the core components of V shaped gear ring, pilot pin, balancing arm and lock pin were designed by applying the fine blanking progressive die process with the smooth section. The production practices show that the forming difficulties of sprocket workpiece are solved successfully by the design scheme, and the sprocket parts meet the requirements under the high production efficiency and high stability of the progressive die structure.
