Abstract:

Springback is a common problem in stamping parts and affects the dimensional accuracy of stamping parts greatly. For the front inner door panel of a car, the springback compensation problem of stamping parts was studied. First of all, a robust stamping process scheme was established according to the characteristics of inner door panel, then the springback was simulated and predicted by Autoform software, and a prespringback compensation scheme was made. Finally, the practical dimension of parts was tracked, and the parts of the whole process were scanned to analyze the reason of practical and theoretical dimension deviation by GOM software. Furthermore, a postspringback compensation scheme was made, and the part dimension after compensation was basically up to standard. The result shows that based on a robust stamping process scheme, a prespringback and postspringback compensation on the die surface can stably and efficiently control the springback of parts, which can provide a reference idea for the springback compensation of stamping parts such as inner door panel.
