Title:Dynamics characteristic analysis on roll mill transmission system with random meshing parameters

Abstract:

The transmission system model of rolling mill with a 6-degree-of-freedom gear bending-torsion-axis coupling was established, and the dynamic model of the transmission system with time-varying meshing stiffness excitation, transmission error excitation and side clearance excitation of gear was numerically analyzed to obtain the dynamic response process of the roll mill transmission system by 4-order Runge-Kutta numerical integration method. The results show that the random of time-varying meshing stiffness excitation, transmission error excitation and side clearance excitation of gear causes displacement vibration of the gear transmission system to the varying degrees, and the mean and mean square deviation of vibration displacement increase with the increasing of the random clearance dispersion. Because the driven gear side is at the end of the transmission system and bears a large load, the mean and mean square deviation of the vibration displacement of the driven gear side are larger than that of the driving gear. Thus, the research results provide a reference for the engineering design of the transmission system of roll mill.
