Abstract:

Considering that the synchronous control error of hydraulic cylinder in the double-drive feeding system of rolling mill has a great influence on the shape and accuracy of strip produced by the rolling mill, the hydraulic synchronous control technology of the double-drive feeding system for the down-pressing roller of rolling mill was studied. Then, the working principle of double-drive feeding system was analyzed, and the synchronization control model of double-drive feeding system and the synchronization control method of double-drive feeding system of rolling mill based on fuzzy PID algorithm were established. The simulation results show that the maximum tracking and synchronization errors of the feeding hydraulic cylinder are 6.2 and 2.5 mm respectively under the action of fuzzy PID control strategy, which are lower than that under the action of conventional PID control strategy. The maximum inclination and average inclination of the double-drive feeding platform of rolling mill are 0.215° and 0.11°, respectively, which are lower than that under the action of conventional PID control strategy. The actions of double-drive feeding hydraulic cylinder of rolling mill are basically the same, but the action of double-drive feeding hydraulic cylinder 2 of rolling mill is obviously lagged behind that of the feeding hydraulic cylinder 1 under the action of conventional PID control strategy. The research results provide a reference for the design of double-drive feeding system of rolling mill.
