Abstract:

In order to solve the forming problem caused by the simultaneous existence of spur teeth and helical teeth for duplicate gear, according to its special structural characteristics, the part was analyzed, and four forming schemes were formulated. Then, the metal flow law, deformation characteristics and forming defects of part were simulated by software Deform-3D, and the scheme 2 was finally determined to be better through scheme discussion and contrastive analysis of simulation results. Based on this, the shape of punch and the die-entrance angle were optimized, and the final scheme was formed. The scheme not only meets the requirements of difficult forming but also greatly reduces the forming load, the gear teeth are filled fully without forming defects basically, and the resulting collapse angle is well solved in the subsequent machining. At the same time, two kinds of demoulding methods for helical teeth of duplicate gear were discussed. Overall, the demoulding method was determined finally by direct extrusion.
